The “BHAGWATI MACHINES INDIA PVT LTD.” Fluid Bed Dryer has adopted new concept of GMP Regulation with improved performance (drying time is much less than the conventional model) minimum involvement of manual labour simplified maintenance and utilize modular construction techniques to provide flexible installation options.

The process unit is two piece made of SS-304/316 stainless steel. Through mixing of Dry powders, Agglomeration and Drying are carried out in one unit of “BHAGWATI MACHINES INDIA PVT LTD.

The salient feature of “BHAGWATI MACHINES INDIA PVT LTD.” Fluidised Bed Dryer are as follows.

1) Process Unit

• The process unit is two piece, made of stainless steel of SS-304 GRADE.
• All process contact parts are made of SS-304 grade.
• The finish employed externally will be all welds ground back and polished into the surrounding materials.
• All of the external surfaces of the Dryer and all non contact/sight parts will prepared with a uniform fine texture matt finish.
• All of the product contact surface (SS-304) are mirror finished.
Particular attention has been paid to reduce any source of material Entrapment by mirror polishing flush all welds to create crevice free profiles both internally and externally.
• The expansion chamber containing the filter finger bags & dished end are made of single piece construction from SS-304/316 quality steel. Below that is the retarding chamber made out of S.S. 304 Retarding chamber is locked with the explosion chamber by means of clamps. The length of the retarding chamber is such designed , thereby providing extra large heat exchange are which exposed each and every particle or the charged batch in the Fluidized air resulting in instant drying.
• Specially designed base is provided for air vortex effect and to give added strength.
• A central drain is provided in the base to release wash water.

2) Bowl / Product Container

• Product bowl is a conical shaped manufactured form SS-304 grade stainless steel having stainless steel mesh support along with fine finish air mesh.
• The product container Trolley is of Tubular construction made form SS-304 pipe mounted on polypropylene castor wheel (2nos fixed & 2nos. Swivel for maneuverability ) which imparts rigidity to carry the product container with the charged load.
• The batch loading capacity is always higher in case of “BHAGWATI MACHINES INDIA PVT LTD” Fluid Bed dryer, because of better fluidisation by varying the frequent shaking of the finger bags. Shaking period vary depending on the nature of products.

3) Rubber Gasket

A solid ‘D’ shaped food type silicon rubber gasket is provided in the groove of the flanged joint (between the product container and the retarding chamber) to prevent any leakage of air with fines during operation.

4) Uniform Lifting Of Container
Product container is lifted by specially designed arrangement with the help of one centrically fitted pneumatic cylinder which ensures uniform lifting throughout the periphery of the container which ultimately gives uniform upward pressure to the solid ‘D’ shaped Rubber Gasket, thereby preventing any leakage during operation.

5) Auto Shaking Device
Pneumatic cylinder is used for auto shaking device of the finger bags is mounted on the body and is fitted with a wire rope made out of S.S. 304 guided by pulleys thus rendering the shaking extremely efficient. It also brings down the finger bags to such a level that these can be inspected very easily form the bottom of the retarding chamber. If the shaking is not efficient , the particles will be retained in the finger bags and there will be no proper fluidisation resulting in formation of lumps in the products container.

• Inlet & Outlet : All dryers have a 5 micron pre filter r at the inlet and a manually infinite adjustable damper at the outlet.
• Door : Doors at provided at the front and / or rear side of the dryer. Door lips are lined with silicon rubber gasket to prevent any leakages. Suitable locking is provided for the doors.
• Air Circulation : Air circulation is done by specially designed recirculation blowers inside the dryer. The blower capacity, static & design depends on the size and model of dryer.
• Heating : Dryers are normally supplied with either steam/ electric/ thermic fluid / hot water heating system. Suitable heating coils / caloriefiers are provided in the dryers.
• Temperature Control : Temp control system is done by electronic digital temp controller fitted in the control panel. The temp control in the dryer is fully automatic.
• Trays : Trays are available in S.S. 304/ 316 q. All trays are fully die pressed and with cooved corners. Trays are buffed to mirror finish. Trays are also available in aluminium / Polypropelene / Frp/ M.S. galvanized as per clients requirements.
• Trolley : Trolley is provided in the dryers to accommodate trays in it. Trolley truck are used to load and unload the trays into the dryer.
• Control Panel : Automatic Control panel is fitted on the side of the dryer. If consists of Starters, contactors, safety relays, ckt breakers, indicating lamps, push buttons, timers, controllers etc.

• GMP point of view machine is provided with S.S cladding on base, S.S.belt guards, S.S. cover on motor. No exposed painted surface on top of the machine. Motor rails, screw and guide rods are chrome plated.
• Beaters assembly bearings are in a separate pillow blocks for ease in maintenance.
• Very less down time as only beaters assembly will have to be reversed (and not the complete chamber) for making it knife to impact forward or vice- versa which can be done by single operator.
• Fixed beaters assembly is provided as a standard supply which increase the output by 10 to 30 % & reduce noise level and also easy to clean as there are no cavities. ( if product demands, swing beaters assembly ban be provided.
• Beaters and shafts are of stainless steel 410 quality and beaters are further hardened and chrome plated.Beaters are fitted on a splined shaft.
• Transmission of heat to the chamber form the bearing is minimum as they are away in separate pillow blocks. This facilities to some extend in processing of heat sensitive products.
• Beaters assembly is dynamically balanced which reduce vibration and notice level and increase bearing life.
• Castors provided for mobility and brakes can be applied for fixing machine at one place.
• Machine is available in Plain & Water Jacketed model. Flame proof electricals can be provided on demand at extra cost.

We manufacture, supply and export of Bhagwati planetary mixer, which is basically a mixing assembly where the agitation pattern is of planetary nature. The beater or agitation assembly rotates around itself and travels in a circle in the bowl thereby achieving intimate mixing. Owing to specially designed feature of shifting, the mass is uniformly & intimately mixed.

The unit consists of SS cylindrical bowl with torri-spherical dished bottom with inside surface polished to smooth finish. MS Jacket is provided on cylindrical & torri-spherical area to operate on 3 Kg / cm sq. The bowl is also suitable for vacuum application and fitted with 3 caster wheels, 2 fixed and 1 swivel.

Top Dish :

• SS top dish covers the bowl with SS flange having groove for fixing the sealing gasket. Essential connection with serrated nozzle is provided for connecting flexible pipe for vacuum application. Light and sight glasses are suitably provided.

Agitator Assembly :

• 1 or 2 SS open type Beaters
• 1 SS Scrapper fitted with PTFE strip on both sides
• 1 centrally located High Shear Emulsifier ( optional )

Drive Mechanism For Beater Contains the following:

• Suitable HP 1440/2880 RPM DUAL Speed TEFC Motor to work on 415 V, 50 c/s 3 Phase AC supply line, mounted on MS plate.
• Worm reduction gear box coupled to the motor through belt & pulley arrangement
• Epicyclic gear box coupled to motor through belt and Epicyclic gear train arrangement to achieve planetary motion.
• Suitable HP 1440 RPM TEFC motor to work on 415V 3 phase 50 C/s AC supply line for High Shear Emulsifier ( optional )
• The above items are assembled on the top plate, that is supported on a cast iron sliding sleeve with MS gussets.

Main Body :

• MS column with flange mounted on stool base 2 limit switches provided at upper & lower limits of the column to control traverse of sleeve.

Lifting Arrangement Of The Drive Assembly (Mechanical) Consists of:

• The circuit consist of MCBs, relays and contactor. Ample overload protection is provided by the MCBs and relay.

Mixing Bowl & Cover : S.S. 304 bowl design in three sections i.e Flat bottom, Cylindrical mid portion and conical top portion for efficient mixing operation & provided with counter balanced lid. Lid provided with vents, view ports & charging openings.

Main Impeller & Drive :  The main impeller consists of dual speed 750/1500 synchronous dual HP TEFC motor, coupled through a belt drive to a worm reduction gearbox with chain coupling. The impeller is designed to provide mixing at the bottom and at the centre of the bowl and is driven through a specially designed bearing housing that facilities inside wash facility for quick change over and also prevents leakage of powder from bottom entry and leads to longer life of gear box.

Chopper : The chopper drive consists of dual HP Dual speed (1440 / 2800 synchronous speed) TEFC MOTOR. The motor shaft is of S.S. and the chopper has specially designed 4 blade S.S. Impeller. The shaft is integral with the motor. The assembly mounted horizontally into the bowl.

Discharge Port : The discharge port is mounted horizontally into the bowl with vertical downward opening. The opening is operated by pneumatic cylinder and discharged can be regulated for required opening.

Mounting : A sturdy M.S. channel frame is used to house the drive assemblyat the bottom. The bowl is mounted on the top. A S.S. staircase and railings are provided for the platform. The platform is half covered with S.S, dimpled plates. For safe movement of operater and the area under the bowl is covered with S.S.
The entire body is covered from the sides by suitable S.S. covers.
