SHELL: Consisting of 'U' trough of suitable dimensions. Construction of S.S. and side plates duly M.S. stiffened from outside and from inside with S.S.

Mixing Mechanism: Paddle type blades welded to the main shaft provide for efficient mixing of thick heavy material. PTFE gland mechanism provided at shaft ends prevents ingress of external powder into the trough and prevents leakage.

Charging: From the top charging can be done through a hingeable lid, hopper or Nozzle can be provided for additional spraying of additives.

Discharge: By bottom discharge slide Iris or Butterfly valve of suitable diameter, for regulated discharge.

Drive: Consisting of suitable H.P. TEFC 3 phase ac 415v / 50 cycles motor coupled to suitable worm gear, with driving shafts mounted on suitable plummer block.

Mounting: Mounted on suitable ISMC Section Stand, with protective covers for belts and couplings.

MOC: All contact parts in S.S. Constructions. Complete unit with S.S. cover and all surfaces polished to mirror dull finish. MS parts dull painted to smooth finish.

Granulation:

Mechanical process in which the product is pressed through a sieve with a specially shaped rotor-arm to obtain a desired particle size. This process results in a narrow distribution spectrum as only the product having the right shape, size & position is broken & passed through the sieve.

Oscillating Rotor:

The oscillating motion of the rotor improves the granulating process. This sensitive handling of the product emulates the hand operation of an experienced pharmacist.
One important feature of the oscillating granulator is the continuous variation of the speed & force applied to the material. The back & forth motion of the rotor results in an even distribution of the material.

Applications :- 1) Mixing Bowl & Cover: S.S. 316 bowl design in three sections i.e. Flat bottom, Cylindrical mid portion and conical top portion for efficient mixing operation & provided with counter balanced lid. Lid provided with vents, view ports & charging openings. 2) Main Impeller & Drive: The main impeller consists of dual speed synchronous dual HP TEFC motor, coupled through a belt drive to a worm reduction gearbox with chain coupling. The impeller is designed to provide mixing at the bottom and at the centre of the bowl and is driven through a specially designed bearing housing that facilities inside wash facility for quick change over and also prevents leakage of powder from bottom entry and leads to longer life of gear box. 3) Chopper: The chopper drive consists of dual HP Dual speed. TEFC MOTOR. The motor shaft is of S.S. and the chopper has specially designed 4 blade S.S. Impeller. The shaft is integral with the motor. The assembly mounted horizontally into the bowl. 4) Control Panel: The control panel is in built is provided with: • Actuators for ON/OFF, slow, fast operation. • Auto / manual controls. • Timer. • Indicator Lights. • Ammeter/ voltmeter for both motors. • Air regulator & Pressure gauge & air filter. 5) Main Panel: Main panel consists of all prewired connections and it has only to be connected to the electrical supply. The circuits consist of MCCB and the relay. Wires coming out of the connections are numbered for easy recognition. 6) Salient Features: • Layouts to suit individual requirements possible. • Main Bearing Housing provided with 3 nos Oil Seals and sleeve to minimize powder leakages /cross contamination. • Chopper motor with built in S.S. shaft to eliminate roller, bearings and reduce maintenance. 7) Safety Features: • Locking arrangement for motor to eliminate accidentally starting with open lid. • Enclosed moving parts.

Double Cone Blender

We present premium quality “Bhagwati” double cone blenders, which are useful in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and cosmetic industries for rapid blending and mixing. The design comprises of shallow vertical cylinder with a cone of flawlessly engineered angle located at each end. If desired, the mixed products can be directly discharged into the container by the means of a butterfly valve fitted at the end of cone. All the contact parts are made of stainless steel. The blender is available either in MS or SS 304/316 materials. The drive contains a motor coupled to a proper gearbox to provide the desired RPM.

Highlighting Features:

• Conical in shape at both ends ends for allowing uniform mixing & easy discharge
• Statically balanced cone avoid any excessive load on the gear box & motor
• The powder can be loaded into the cone through wider opening.
• The powder can be discharged through a mucon valve or slide valve.

Applications:-

1.PAN: SS 316 semi ellipsoidal size pan with a circular mouth for charging & discharging of tablets Pan mounted at an inclination of 45 degrees to the horizontal.

2.Drive Assembly: Consists of a suitable 1 HP 3 Phase, 440 V, and 1440-RPM TEFC motor with suitable worm reduction gearbox and cone pulley arrangement to give three-speed output.

3.Hot Air Blower: The unit is provided with a hot air blower consisting of suitable HP 3 Phase 440 V, 2880-RPM TEFC electric motor & centrifugal blower with damper delivering required CFM. The air is heated by means of suitable electric heater to give air at 30 to 90 degrees Heater with thermostat control and flexible hose pipe

4.Control Panel: Unit provided with suitable control panel with starters and push button to actuate the drive and for blower The circuits consists of MCCBs, relays and contractors in series Ample overload protection is provided by the MCCB and the relay Wires coming out of the connections are numbered for easy recognition

5.Mounting: The motor and gearbox is mounted inside sturdy MS frame and the pan mounted on the Gearing housing fitted in the stand. Blower mounted by the side of the stand or placed in remote location if required

6.Finish: All joints argon Arc welded and all SS Parts polished to suitable finished required of pharmaceutical equipment MS parts painted to smooth finish.

7.Options Available
• a.Unit with FLP motors and FLP push button station but non FLP panel to be mounted outside FLP area.
• b.Steam heating for blower.

Avail from us GMP model based Bhagwati fluid bed dryers, which are electrically heated and well-suited to dry 5 Kgs of wet material at a time with contact parts in S.S. 316 & non contact parts in S.S. 304 in single piece welded. These stainless steel fluid bed dryers are also used for conducting various research activities in the pharmaceutical industries. Recommended Spares : • Extra Product container made from S.S.304 with perforated bottom & intermediate dutch weave with S.S. 304 Trolley with fiber wheels • Product container made out of S.S. 316 along with S.S. 304 Trolley • Filter bags made from special PP cloth (2 nos) Highlighting Features: 1) Process Unit • The process unit is single pieces welded design made from stainless steel of SS. All process contact parts are manufactured from SS-316. • The finish employed externally will be all welds ground back & polished into the surrounding materials. • All of the external surfaces of the Dryer & all non contact/sight parts will be prepared with a uniform fine texture Matt finish. • The entire product contact surface is mirror finished • A central drain is provided in the base to release wash water • Meticulous attention is paid to reduce any source of material Entrapment by mirror polishing flush all welds to create crevice free profiles both internally & externally. • The expansion chamber containing the filter finger bags & dished end are made of single piece construction from SS 316 quality steel. Below that is the retarding chamber made out of S.S. 316 Retarding chamber is locked with the explosion chamber by means of clamps. The length of retarding chamber is designed to provide extra large heat exchange, which exposes each and every particle or the charged batch in the Fluidized air resulting in instant drying • Specially designed base is provided for air vortex effect and for giving added strength 2) Bowl/ Product Container • Conical shaped bowl/ product container is made form SS-316 grade stainless steel having stainless steel mesh support along with fine finish air mesh. • The batch loading capacity is always higher in case of Bhagwati Fluid Bed dryer owing to better fluidization by varying frequent shaking of finger bags. Shaking period vary depending on the nature of products • Product container Trolley is available in tubular construction made form SS-304 pipe mounted on polypropylene caster wheel 3) Rubber Gasket • A solid ‘D’ shaped food type silicon rubber gasket is incorporated in the groove of flanged joint between the product container & retarding chamber to prevent any leakage of air with fines during processing 4)Air Handling Unit • Blower & filter with heating arrangement are housed in the rear chamber. They can also be housed the services zone to avoid sound pollution and interference of maintenance people in the production zone.

Applications:-

• It operates on the principle of variable force swing beaters having both knife and impact edges rotating within a selected screen to get the required size reduction.
• Material fed in the hopper, goes down to the processing chamber where it moves to the periphery and passes through the screen radially and tangentially. Finally the processed material gets collected in the container kept below the processing chamber.
• Output and quality of the final product depends on three main factors
